Rye Football Club’s senior team beat Pearcedale on a cold, windy grey day at Pearcedale. Rye opened up an early lead and was strong enough to keep Pearcedale’s 3rd quarter charge under control. Chris Gleeson kicked 4 goals, capping off excellent work from the skipper Rhett Sutton and Ryan Semmel in the centre, and Adam Kirkwood down back.
