Rye Football Club’s senior team incurred another disappointing loss, this time to arch rivals Rosebud. Ordinary attack on the ball, being second to most contests, and a lack of desire in wet and slippery conditions saw Rye well outplayed.
A late resurgence saw Rye nearly pinch the game, but final score was Rosebud 12-11-83 def Rye 11-12-78.
