Rye Football Club’s senior team beat Somerville by 10 points at RJ Rowley Reserve, Rye earlier today.
Rye’s very poor kicking kept Somerville in a game that Rye should have comprehensively won by a significant margin. Ryan Semmel starred in the centre, possessing the ball with confidence and sound disposal skills. Matt Macindoe and Chris Gleeson were superb in the back lines for Rye.
